Yesterday, the children from the Mary Mitchell Family and Youth Center came to Mapes Avenue Garden to weed and plant a bed they will maintain throughout the season. The rain held off and we were able to get a good amount of planting done. Special thanks to Bronx Green-Up and Mr. Parker, from Mapes Avenue Garden, for their assistance!
